Nathaniel's natural talent and artistry as both a songwriter and performer makes him one of the most promising and up and coming artists today.
With his remarkably appealing and unique performance style, his seemingly limitless ability as a songwriter and his "ahead of the curve" creativity in-studio as a producer, Nathaniel will undoubtedly achieve widespread success in the music industry. Nathaniel was very young when his parents noticed he had more than usual musical talent. When he sat down at a toy piano at the age of two and played a melody rather than just pounding on the keys, his father saw something in him that he was confident should be cultivated. Growing up from a humble beginning, Nathaniel began to develop his craft on his own. By the time college was approaching, he was already a highly skilled pianist and songwriter. Although he didn't know much about music theory, he could entertain a crowd for hours. Often times throughout his high school years, groups of students were late to classes because they were caught up listening to Nathaniel play in one of the rehearsal rooms, as he would use his skill as a songwriter to make up songs about them on the spot. Although he began college as a film major, another great passion of his in which he has tremendous talent, he was soon offered the option to switch to music on scholarship when the director of vocal studies heard him playing in one of the classrooms. After a few short years Nathaniel's skill and understanding of music theory was just as developed as his impressive ability on the piano. Toward the end of this college career, Nathaniel connected with legendary saxophonist and producer Richie Cannata (world renown saxophonist for Billy Joel / The Beach Boys), who after hearing his originals said, "Wow, I have not heard a writing talent like this in years!" He then requested the opportunity to produce Nathaniel's first album, and after a few months in the studio they completed Nathaniel's debut album "I Walk These Roads," which contains songs that have been heard on radio stations all throughout both the east and west coast! On the album Nathaniel was joined by some other world renown musicians such as Julio Fernandez ( lead guitar - Spyro Gyra), John Montagna (bass - Alan Parsons Project), Kevin Bregande (Inferno Merchants, Delilah) and more... Since then, Nathaniel has been writing and performing all over the tri-state area, although he has spent a lot of time working on an original musical that has received some attention from a renown broadway producer who cannot be named at this time. He has also written and produced songs for artist Priscilla Raine, a knock out singer with a dynamic range that is out of this world! He has become a very recognized artist to his native Long Island fan base, and he has performed at some legendary venues around New York City. He is now working on his next album entitled, "Delusional & Brave" in which we hear a matured sound as well as some new innovations. |
